Germany, Oct. 2 -- BASF is evaluating strategic options for its feed enzymes business, which is part of the company's Nutrition & Health division. BASF is a pioneer in the feed enzymes market and launched Natuphos(R) in 1991 as the world's first commercial feed enzyme (phytase). Over time, the company expanded its portfolio, which by 2021 included phytase, xylanase, glucanase and mannanase. This announcement is related only to BASF's feed enzymes business in the Nutrition & Health division and does not include the enzymes product portfolio for the home care and I&I industry, which is part of BASF's Care Chemicals division.
