Bank Group Deputy Director General for Central Africa and Country Manager for DRC Assumes Office
Congo Democratic Republic of, Dec. 3 -- Mohamed Cherif, Deputy Director General of the African Development Bank Group for Central Africa and Head of the Bank's Country Office in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has formally assumed duties, following the presentation of his credentials to the country's government.The presentation, made to Therese Kayikwamba Wagner, the Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie of the DRC, took place at a ceremony held at the Ministry premises in Kinshasa, the country's capital, on 20 November.The African Development Bank Group's active portfolio in the Democratic Republic of Congo totals more than $1.6 billion, covering the agriculture, transport,...
