Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visits the North East Link project
Australia, June 20 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently visited the North East Link project, accompanied by Minister for Infrastructure Catherine King and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan.The project is built by a joint venture comprising CSCEC, Italy's Webuild, South Korea's GS E&C, and Australia's CPB. The project has a total length of 7.2 kilometers, including 6.5 kilometers of tunnels.During the visit, Prime Minister Albanese visited the already-bored southbound TBM tunnel section, and received a briefing from on-site engineers regarding the launch of the twin TBMs.He noted that the project is a major road infrastructure project in Victoria.
