United Kingdom, Jan. 6 -- ArcelorMittal and EDF signed a Nuclear Power Production Allocation Contract (CAPN) on December 26, 2025, for ArcelorMittal's sites in France. This contract follows the letter of intent signed in January 2024 and represents a major step in ArcelorMittal's energy strategy in France.Under this agreement, EDF will allocate to ArcelorMittal a share of the capacity of its operating nuclear fleet for a period of 18 years. This contract enables ArcelorMittal to secure a long-term supply of low-carbon, competitive electricity.The first deliveries began on January 1, 2026.
