Alstom to supply Kawasaki with propulsion components for new subway cars for MTA New York City Transit
United States, July 22 -- Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, announced that it has exercised the second option with Kawasaki Rail Car Inc. to supply propulsion components for 435 additional new generation subway cars, known as the R211 series, for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (MTA) New York City Transit (NYCT).
