India, Sept. 12 -- Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded a 10-year contract by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for comprehensive annual maintenance of Bombardier-made metro trains, associated machines and plants, as well as housekeeping services for both the trains and the Badli Depot. In addition, Alstom will be in charge of the maintenance for onboard signalling equipment installed in all 103 trains of Lines 1& 2. The contract is valued at approximately €42.1 million.The contract was awarded following a competitive bidding process initiated by DMRC, with a defined duration of 10 years.
