Mexico, Sept. 12 -- Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, celebrates the fifth anniversary of the inauguration of Line 3 of the Guadalajara Light Rail, a key infrastructure project for metropolitan mobility. The line opened in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, carrying about 75,000 users each day. Today the line carries between 140,000 and 152,000 passengers per day, a growth of more than 80%.In 2014, Alstom was selected by the Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT - Ministry of Communication and Transport) to deliver this project, an integrated system for the expansion of the Guadalajara light rail network.
