Mauritania, May 29 -- The Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the African Development Bank have signed three new financing agreements totaling nearly $30 million to boost climate resilience, improve sustainable water resource management, and promote women's entrepreneurship. The agreements were signed on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Bank's 2025 Annual Meetings in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.The first agreement, a $9.32 million grant from the Climate Action Window of the African Development Fund, targets gender-sensitive agriculture and women's entrepreneurship.
