Cote Dlvoire, Dec. 2 -- The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group has approved an up to XOF 15 billion (EUR 22.9 million) to support Phase II of Cote d'Ivoire's Programme Electricite Pour Tous (PEPT).The financing includes up to EUR 16.0 million from the Bank and up to EUR 6.9 million from the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA). The approval was made on 15th October 2025.The transaction marks the first African Development Bank subscription to a local currency social bond in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) region.
