ADB, Japan Financial Services Agency Partner to Help Asia and the Pacific Seize Investment Opportunities
Japan, Oct. 22 -- Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda and Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA) Commissioner Yutaka Ito signed a cooperation agreement today to strengthen financial sector development in Asia and the Pacific.The agreement focuses on helping the region's emerging economies deploy more technology for financial inclusion, develop their capital markets, and embrace measures to build more resilient and stable financial systems. The agreement was signed during the Asia Day event at Japan Weeks 2025 where Mr. Kanda delivered a keynote address on how Asia's vast financial market potential can be tapped for the region's prosperity.
