Spain, Feb. 21 -- ACCIONA, as part of the Calcasieu Bridge Partners consortium, has won the PFI P3 Deal of the Year award for the financing of the Interstate 10 (I-10) Calcasieu River Bridge, one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Louisiana, with an investment of $2.3 billion and a 50-year concession.The consortium, consisting of Plenary Americas (40%), Sacyr (30%) and ACCIONA (30%), in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), has financed the project through a $1.33 billion tax-exempt private activity bond transaction.
