ACCIONA will build Madrid's Formula 1 circuit
Spain, April 15 -- IFEMA MADRID and the consortium formed by ACCIONA (60%) and Eiffage Construccion (40%) signed today the contract for the construction of the new Formula 1 circuit (Madring) that the Spanish capital will use from 2026 onwards.The circuit will be located in the northeast of Madrid, on plots of land mostly belonging to IFEMA MADRID, except for a section of public roads. The project, with a tender budget of €111 million, was awarded to the consortium for €83.2 million. It includes the assembly and dismantling of all the temporary track structures and facilities for the race, as well as the restoration of the public roads that will form part of the circuit for their everyday use once the race is over.The consortium...
