Brazil, Dec. 19 -- ACCIONA, in a consortium with local company BRK, has been awarded the contract for the concession of treated water distribution and sewerage services in 151 municipalities of Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil.The concession will last 35 years and will involve an investment of BRL15.4 billion (€2.38 billion), with the aim of expanding and modernizing the sanitation and water supply infrastructure, thus guaranteeing treated water and the collection and treatment of wastewater for around seven million residents.
