ACCIONA Energia agrees to sell a wind and solar portfolio in the US and Mexico for US$1BN
Spain, Dec. 16 -- ACCIONA Energia has reached an agreement with Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP) for the sale of a 49% stake in its 1.3GW photovoltaic portfolio in the United States, together with the full stake in two wind farms in Mexico totaling 321MW, for c. US$1billion (€855 million, equity value).The US photovoltaic portfolio comprises four solar plants: Red Tailed Hawk (458MWp) and Fort Bend Solar (316MWp) in Texas, High Point Solar Farm (127MWp) in Illinois, and Union Solar (415MWp) in Ohio.
