Peru, Jan. 30 -- ACCIONA has closed two new lines of financing totaling US$220 million for the construction of power transmission lines in Peru, which will strengthen the quality of supply and integrate renewable energy into the national grid. These lines of financing add to those recently signed with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Dutch development bank FMO for a total of US$145 million.A first syndicated loan of up to US$165 million was signed with Banco Santander and Caixabank for the construction of 386 kilometers of transmission lines, six new substations, and the expansion of another six existing substations in the south of the country.
