ACCIONA awarded electricity transmission line in Western Australia
Spain, July 24 -- ACCIONA, has been selected by the Government of Western Australian to build a new 27-kilometre electricity transmission line, including 6.7 kilometres of 132kV underground cable, 17 kilometres of overhead lines and various complementary works, such as substation and terminal upgrades.The project, named Clean Energy Link - North, is valued at AU$342 million (€192 million) and will enable the supply of around 400MW of existing wind power and up to 1GW of new renewable energy, contributing to cleaner energy generation for the Western Australian community.
