Peru, Feb. 11 -- ACCIONA, in partnership with Ferrovial, has completed the construction of a 29.7-kilometer highway that continues the Pan-American Highway through the city of Chimbote, in northern Peru. The new road will improve urban traffic congestion in the municipality and cut the travel time by 65%, reducing the journey from two hours to 40 minutes.The project required an investment of PEN600 million (€142 million) and was executed over two years and nine months, finishing three months ahead of schedule.
