BALESWAR, Jan. 18 -- A woman was arrested on Sunday for allegedly hiring a Supari killer for Rs 50,000 to murder her daughter in Baleswar district.
The killer Pramod Jena was also arrested by the Sadar police.The body of the deceased Sibani Nayak (36) was recovered on January 12 from under a bridge at Nagram village.Police said the accused woman Sukuri alias Sukanti Jena had hired the contract killer Pramod Jena to murder Sibani. The incident was said to be the fallout of a dispute between Sukanti and Sibani. As per reports, the accused was upset with Sibani who was allegedly involved in illicit liquor trade.
