India, May 3 -- The theme of materiality in contemporary art has long been a subject of exploration, but Alchemy of Matter, presented by The Lexicon Art Gallery that takes this theme to an entirely new level by challenging traditional perceptions and redefining the role of materials in the creative process.

Curated by Rahul Bhattacharya, the exhibition enters deep into the 'new materiality' emerging in Baroda's vibrant studio culture, where materials are no longer mere mediums, but active participants in the storytelling and conceptualisation of art.
