India, April 5 -- The cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday gave enough indications to continue his inning with the Congress party.

"I am a loyal soldier of Congress party," said Sidhu while addressing the media at his Patiala residence. Sidhu's assertion came amidst rumours that he can either join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) or switch to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again.

Even as the former Minister evaded queries on the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and the State Government's functioning, Sidhu said: "It is not me who will judge the policies and plans of Punjab government. The final judgement will be made by the people of Punjab. The government will get rewarded and will repeat if the policies are good."
