Chandigarh, Jan. 31 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday said that the state has set a new record by providing government jobs to 26,074 eligible youth purely on the basis of merit.
"The state is witnessing a new revolution where the youth are being empowered with government jobs. This is just the beginning and 26,074 jobs have been given in 10 months of tenure.More jobs are in pipeline and this process will continue in the coming days too," said Mann, while addressing the gathering during a function to hand over appointment letters to 188 Junior Engineers.
