Chandigarh, Dec. 11 -- Punjab Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh on Tuesday reviewed the preparations of Census-2021 in the State-level Coordination Committee.
The census operations will be carried out in two phases. The first phase of House-Listing and Housing Census will be carried out from May 15 to June 29, 2020, along with the updation of National Population Register, while the second phase of Population Enumeration will be conducted from February 9 to 28, 2021, with a revisional round from March 1 to 5, 2021, said the spokesperson.
