Ranchi, Oct. 19 -- Taking suo moto cognizance of media reports, Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday directed Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chavi Ranjan to provide all possible support to national Karate gold medalist Vimla Munda, who has been forced to sell rice beer (Hadia) to eke out a living.
The CM took to microblogging website, Twitter, and said that the sports policy, which the government is working on, will ensure better financial stability for sportspersons in Jharkhand in future.
