Jammu, Nov. 7 -- Two main constituents of the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) organised a meeting of party workers in Jammu ahead of holding a formal meeting in Jammu on Saturday.
Both Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah addressed a meeting of party workers here at their party headquarters in the old city area of Jammu while PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti addressed a small gathering inside heavily guarded party office in Gandhi Nagar.
Due to recent incidents of flag hoisting outside the PDP headquarters in Jammu thick posse of security personnel were deployed and concertina wires were spread to prevent entry of outsiders in the secured zone.
