KEONJHAR, April 22 -- Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik was injured after his vehicle was attacked by some miscreants during an election rally in the Keonjhar district on Sunday.
The incident took place at Bhandaripoda Chhak under the Ghasipura Assembly
constituency in the afternoon. Incidentally, Patnaik is contesting the polls from the seat.
Besides Patnaik, five to seven Congress workers were also injured in the attack. Three of them were shifted to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack.
Later, Patnaik filed a complaint at the Ramchandrapur police station alleging that BJD cadres were involved in the incident.
