NEW DELHI, April 9 -- The Delhi Police has arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly decamping with cameras and other belongings of a photographer after hiring the equipment on the pretext of attending functions in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

The accused has been identified as Narendar Kumar, a resident of Madangir. Police said that the accused was an accused in a murder case in Delhi and got interim bail in the case during the COVID-19 pandemic. Police said that he had committed these offences while out of jail.

According to Atul Kumar Thakur, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South district, an FIR was registered by one Satyam Verma in February in which he alleged that his two cameras and other articles were taken by a person.
