Lucknow, Sept. 18 -- A special cleanliness-cum-menstrual hygiene campaign began on Thursday to mark the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in various cities of Uttar Pradesh.
The campaign was launched by Sulabh International under 'Seva Saptah' around Sulabh public toilets during which volunteers distributed sanitary napkin packets among adolescents girls and women apart from handing over a number of masks in Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Vrindavan.
Sulabh International, led by its founder Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, organises the birthday of the prime minister every year with an aim to create awareness among masses about cleanliness.
