DEHRADUN, Sept. 12 -- As part of the awareness campaign that is being conducted by Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) against the use of polythene and plastic, mayor Sunil Uniyal 'Gama' on Wednesday started the polythene-plastic donation drive from Paltan Bazaar. This drive will be conducted in all 100 wards under MCD till October 2. The mayor said that the idea is to raise public awareness and provide them with an alternative before imposing penalties on them.
