NEW DELHI, June 26 -- Following a heated argument over fixing a bulb, a 65-year-old man allegedly slit the throat of his daughter-in-law at their residence in central Delhi's Paharganj. Accused Bhagatram went to police station and narrated the incident. The incident occurred on Monday night, police said.

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Neeraj, who was a homemaker. Police said that the woman was staying with her in-laws and 10-year-old son in Paharganj while her husband has been living separately from her since the last seven years.

According to a senior police official, on Monday night, an argument broke out between the woman and her father-in-law - Bhagatram over fixing a bulb in the house.
