NEW DELHI, March 1 -- A 62-year-old man has been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police for allegedly cheating an Afghan national by inducing him for selling his emerald stone on at higher price.
The accused has been identified as Gulam Hasan alias, a resident of Mustafabad in Kashmir who was arrested by the EOW team on February 25.
According to Dr O P Mishra, the Joint Commissioner of Police, EOW, a case was registered on a complaint of Syed Shah Agha who is a resident of Afghanistan.
