Mumbai, Oct. 18 -- In a drop in the number of deaths and infections, as many 250 people succumbed to Covid-19 and 10,259 others tested positive in various parts of Maharashtra on Saturday.
A day after the state logged 306 deaths and 11,447 infections, the number of deaths dropped by 56 and the infected cases came down by 1186.
With 250 fresh deaths, the total number of deaths mounted from 41,502 to 41,965.
Similarly, with 10259 infections, the total number of infected cases jumped from 15,76,062 to 15,86,321.
On a day when 14,238 people were discharged from various hospitals in the state, the number of people discharged from various hospitals after full recovery since the second week of March this year went up to 13,58,606. The recovery...
