DEHRADUN, Oct. 24 -- In the Pathariya Peer case in which at least seven people died by allegedly drinking illicit liquor, Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arun Mohan Joshi earlier suspended Station in-charge of Dehradun Kotwali Shishupal Negi and the in-charge of Dhara police post Kulwant Singh from active duty.
The internal inquiry to ascertain their involvement in the case was given to Superintendent of Police (rural) Parmendra Dobhal. On the basis of his report, in which both the officers have been found not-guilty, SSP Joshi has reinstated both the officers.
