Ranchi, July 8 -- Filmmaker, painter, poet, writer and social worker, 30-year-old Ankur Chakravorty is a multifaceted man. Born in Ranchi, Chakravorty has established himself as a renowned filmmaker of Jharkhand and is primarily involved in making short films in English and documentaries.

His film 'Duet', released in 2017, is a short film in Hindi which got the Cult Critic Movie Awards 2018, California, USA. Another film of his, 'Juliet- ditched' (2012) got the best film award at the Tata Steel Super Shorts 2015, Jamshedpur. Also, Siesta (2017), Nest (2017) and Step into my Shoes (2017) are some of the other movies made by Chakravorty which have been selected for the Calcutta Cult International Film Festival.
