Chandigarh, May 24 -- The Chandigarh Police is yet to record the statement of BJP leader and former Chairman of the Haryana Sugarfed Chander Prakash Kathuria who was injured after he fell while escaping from the second floor of a building in Sector 63 where he had gone to meet a female friend on Friday evening.
Talking to The Pioneer over the phone, Surinder Singh, SHO, Police Station- 49 said that police team has been formed and they are investigating the incident. Kathuria had suffered injuries on a leg. As per medical report, he is not serious but not in a position to record his statement before the police, he added.
Chandigarh Police took him to the PGI and later he was shifted to a private hospital in tricity.
