Chandigarh, April 9 -- Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said there was a decline in the revenue generation of Governments during the lockdown.

Sharing the figures, he said that there was a decrease of about Rs 2,300 crore in the State revenue during the month of March 2020 and a decrease of Rs 4,000 crores in the month of April was estimated.

The Chief Minister said that to ensure that there was no shortage of funds for the necessary expenditure the state government might have to take loans for which the leaders of all the Opposition parties had given consent, as it is the priority of the government to tackle the pandemic.
