Bhopal, Feb. 26 -- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that efforts are being made to attract maximum investment in Madhya Pradesh. Emphasis is being laid on the establishment of food processing units in particular.
The state government is making continuous efforts to protect and promote the interests of Basmati growing farmers of the state.
Court proceedings for GI tag registration of Basmati paddy in the state is in progress. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has also been requested in this connection.
