Ranchi, May 22 -- Girls trumped boys in the Jharkhand Academic Council's (JAC) class 12 results for Arts stream declared on Tuesday by securing a pass percentage of 81.50. On the other hand, 77.91 per cent of boys, who appeared in the exams, passed.

The performance of students witnessed considerable improvement compared to last year as the total pass percentage jumped from 72.62 per cent in 2018 to 79.97 per cent this year. The results were declared by JAC chairperson Arvind Singh.
