Dehradun, Aug. 23 -- The Forest Research Institute (FRI) and Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC) signed a memorandum of understanding to share technical knowledge in the field of research, extension and education and disseminate it jointly with mutual consent to farmers, non governmental organisations, self help groups, forest department and weaker sections of the society specially scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Both institutes have come together on a common platform to share the scientific knowledge and disseminate it to common people for skill development in respective jurisdiction areas in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
