Chandigarh, Oct. 23 -- Haryana Police has made a foolproof three-tier security arrangement for the safety of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trial (VVPAT) machines brought to the designated strong rooms after polling for the State Assembly polls on October 21.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Navdeep Singh Virk said that elaborate security arrangements have been made for safe custody of the EVMs and VVPAT machines at designated strong rooms where personnel of State Police and Paramilitary forces guarding the rooms under round the clock vigil.
