BHUBANESWAR, June 13 -- The Defence Research and Development Orgnaisation (DRDO) successfully test-fired a Technology Demonstrator Vehicle from the Dr Abdul Kalam Island on the Odisha coast on Wednesday.
The vehicle was fired from the island at 11.27 am and it successfully achieved targets, said an official release. Many types of radar, telemetry station and electro optical tracking sensors watched the vehicle's movement.
Detailed data have been collected; and a review would be held to accord complex technology status to the vehicle, said the release.
