NEW DELHI, Feb. 12 -- Ahead of summers, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) will hire consultants' to study feasibility for 24-hour water supply in Delhi. In its 144th board meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, the DJB approved projects including extension of scheme of levy or recovery of development charges of water and sewer, hiring of consultations for Rejuvenation of Defunct Oxidation (RDO) pond.

According to an official of Delhi Government, the board approved hiring of a consultant for the study to maximise water supply to residents DJB supplies 900 MGD water daily through approximately 1,400 km of transmission and distribution networks.
