Dehradun, July 15 -- The Dehradun region of the Central Board of Secondary Education which witnessed a reduction in number of schools this year following re- organisation of areas under jurisdiction witnessed an appreciable increase in pass percentage in the results of All India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE) examination (Class XII) declared on Monday.

The region showed an increment of 9.65 percent this year as compared to last year. In the year 2019, the Dehradun region had a pass percentage of 73.57 which jumped to 83.22 percent this year.
