New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- The parents of the 19-year-old Uttarakhand girl who was gangraped and killed in Delhi's Chhawla area ten years ago filed a review petition on Monday in the Supreme Court against its judgment that acquitted all the three accused persons. Their petition was also backed by the Uttarakhand Bachao Movement.
Delhi LG VK Saxena had cleared the files for filing review petition by the Delhi Police against the gruesome murder of the girl, whose body was found at Chhawla in 2012.
"This Hon'ble Court erred in holding that the entire prosecution case falls flat because the accused were neither identified in the depositions nor any Test Identification Parade was conducted on the accused.
