Lucknow, Aug. 17 -- The boundary wall of a resort belonging to Abdullah Azam Khan, MLA and son of Samajwadi Party MP Mohammad Azam Khan, was demolished by the Rampur district administration on Friday.
According to authorities, the Humsafar resort was illegally constructed and built on government land.
The UP Irrigation department had served a couple of notices on the SP leader, asking him to vacate the department's land.
"A nullah used to pass where the resort was constructed. Complaints were received and when we investigated, we found that the resort was constructed on a nullah, which is illegal.
