PARALAKHEMUNDI, Nov. 30 -- A body of a man was recoverred from the Badakhani dam under Mohana block in Gajapati district. The deceased was identified as Kalucharan Mallick.
He was missing from home and the Mohana police and Fire services personnel had launched a search operation in Badakhani dam. Finally, the body was retrieved from 40 feet underwater. The post mortem was conducted at the MKCG Medical College Hospital, Brahmapur.
Fire Officer Susant Ranjan Mahapatra and staff Jitendra Kumar Bhuyan, IIC Mohana Sujit Kumar Nayak, SI Pinki Murmu did the search operation.
