Chandigarh, June 25 -- BJP MLA from Ambala city, Aseem Goel on Monday raised slogans against Haryana Police at a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee presided over by Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar in Ambala.
Agitated over the high handedness of the state police in a case, the BJP MLA alongwith his supporters accused Ambala Superintendent of Police, Mohit Handa of failing to redress the grievances of the people.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is heading the BJP Government in Haryana.
During the meeting, the trouble began when a youth alleged that he was beaten by the police over the issue of challan. The youth also showed injury marks on his body.
