Kolkata, Jan. 14 -- Days after quitting the ruling Trinamool Congress and joining the BJP kicking up a political storm, Suvendu Adhikari has moved the Calcutta High Court apprehending threat to his life and seeking directions for the Mamata Banerjee Government to ensure full security along his route wherever he travels.
In his petition, Adhikari has referred to recurrent attacks on his convoy by alleged Trinamool Congress goons saying though he enjoys Z category security provided by the central Government the vehicles of his followers are regularly being attacked by the TMC-backed hooligans.
