Manila, Oct. 10 -- Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles graced the inauguration of the PHP50 million newly rehabilitated cultural center of the West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz district this city on Wednesday.
Nograles was responsible for the provision of the fund, when he was still chair of the appropriations committee of the 17th Congress, for the rehabilitation of the center that was originally constructed in 1978.
In a press conference following the inauguration, he said the cultural center was one of the venues visited by President Rodrigo Duterte when he was campaigning for President. "During that time, the center was very dilapidated," he said.
