Manila, Dec. 12 -- Vice President Leni Robredo did not see the "total picture" of the drug menace in the country during her short stint as Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) co-chairperson, the head of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Thursday. PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, who concurrently heads ICAD, said Robredo was "misinformed" due to her failure to meet with three of four ICAD clusters. Aquino added that the Vice President might have felt "overwhelmed" by invitations from other international communities, such as the United States and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to discuss President Rodrigo Duterte's anti-narcotics campaign.
