Manila, June 6 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has installed a new director of the Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) based in Camp Col. Romeo Abendan in Barangay Mercedes here.
Installed as the new PRO-9 director is Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) "Makatao" Class of 1989, Maj. Helen Galvez, PRO-9 information officer, said.
Cambay, whose appointment took effect June 4, has replaced Brig. Gen. Froilan Quidilla, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Tagapanglingkod Class of 1987, who is set to retire from the police service when he reaches the mandatory age of retirement at 56 on July 3.
